READY TO LEARN

One-Week Summer Camps for Rising Freshmen

CECFC offers a one week camp experience for rising freshing attending CECFC high school in the fall. Students will meet teachers and staff, practice math and English skills, sample some enrichment classes, play, and be creative, all while building community with their school and making new friends.

GET READY: ENGLISH AND MATH

Students have the opportunity to meet teachers and practice English and math skills, become familiar with CECFC classrooms and expectations and show what they can do. Ready to Learn sessions help teachers confirm student class placements for the fall.

ENRICHMENT

Part of Ready to Learn is daily enrichment classes. Students explore drawing and ceramics, work in the Innofarm, play games, go outside, building in the innolab, and much more. These opportunities help students sample the variety of classes and experience CECFC has to offer.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

Feeling a sense of belonging is critical to accademic success. Built into CECFC's Ready to Learn program are intentional community-building experiences that combines large and small group activites specifically meant to encourage healthy risk-taking and relationship development.
